Senior Pega Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Pega Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in designing and implementing Pega-based solutions, with expertise in integrations, performance tuning, and application security. If you are certified, skilled in leading end-to-end development, and eager to contribute to enterprise transformation initiatives, we’d love to hear from you.

Design, develop, and implement scalable Pega applications and frameworks.

Execute the full development lifecycle on the Pega 8.7.x platform, including architecture, coding, and configuration.

Ensure best practices in application design, security, and governance are followed across all implementations.

Integrate Pega applications with external systems using SOAP, REST, MQ, TCP, and HTTP protocols.

Develop and maintain reusable assets perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to IT governance standards.

Utilize Pega OOTB integrations, data mapping, and Rules Resolution for optimized performance.

Monitor and improve system performance using tools like PAL, Log Analyzer, and DB Tracer.

Manage administrative tasks through SMA (System Management Administrator) and support performance tuning activities.

Configure and maintain Pega authentication, authorization, and BIX for data extraction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performing enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Pega application development.
Proven experience in delivering at least two end-to-end projects on the Pega 8.7.x platform.
Pega CSSA Certification is mandatory.
Strong understanding of Application Security and Integration frameworks.
Working knowledge of PUI and PBI frameworks.
Familiarity with Performance Tuning Tools and SMA.
Knowledge of the Insurance domain is an advantage.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Additional Pega certifications: CSA, LSA
Experience with advanced Pega OOTB integrations and data mapping
Exposure to enterprise governance and reusable component design practices
Prior experience in mentoring junior developers or leading small Pega teams
